Engine:

6/06 - The engine is almost stock aside from the PT Cruiser lash adjusters, roller rockers, and Deyeme Racing firm motor mounts. Other then that there isn't much excitement going on with the power plant as of yet but I do have big plans for the engine when I finally get a house and garage. I intend on building/assembling the 2.4L engine all by myself aside from the machine work on the short block of course. The engine will have 12.5:1 J&E forged pistons (.020 Over), J&E Piston Rings, Eagle Forged Rods, Indy ported and polished head with stainless steel stock sized intake and 1mm oversized exhaust valves, Crane #0018 cams, Fidanza Cam Gears, 55mm bored throttle body, Stratus long runner intake, C&R Racing aluminum radiator, ARP headstuds, SRT-4 tensioner, SRT-4 water pump, Moroso oil pan, and AFX computer. To say the least it will be built with the full intention of running low 13's in the 1/4 mile.

9/06 - The all motor project has been scrapped for a supercharged 2.4L setup. As of yet I haven't compiled a list of parts needed but I can guarantee it will be very close to a turbocharged engine setup. I will be working on compiling a list of engine parts over the next few months and I will probably not be doing anything with the engine until this time next year.........yeah it is a long wait on the project start but I will not be around for the next 6 1/2 months since I will be joining the Air Force Reserve to be trained to work on Aircraft Avionics and Electrical Systems.

4/08 - A year and a half ago the DOHC 2.0L engine blew up around November of 2006 and I was forced to replace it with a 1995 SOHC engine. A much peppier version of a standard SOHC engine due to the larger lobes on the cam. As all things with cars and projects the project was scrapped and I was indirectly forced to sell the car to get something newer with 4 doors.
